Samuel Byrne
Clinical Psychologist
Samuel is a registered clinical psychologist who completed his Master of Professional Psychology and Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Samuel embodies a warm, authentic approach with the aim of creating a space for clients to feel safe and supported. He applies various evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to the individual including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.
Samuel has experience working across both public and private healthcare settings, seeing individuals across the lifespan, from children through to adults. Samuel has particular interest in presentations such as stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, trauma, and adjustment difficulties as well as neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASD) and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
